米国南東部-日本会は、日本と米国南東部の加盟州であるアラバマ州、フロリダ州、ジョージア州、ミシシッピ州、ノースカロライナ州、サウスカロライナ州、テネシー州の間の貿易、投資、相互理解、友情を促進するために1976年に設立されました。 米国南東部-日本会は、日本にある日本-米国南東部会とカウンターパートです。
米国南東部-日本会合同会議は、長年の経済的および文化的つながりを祝う、国際ビジネスリーダーの権威ある集まりです。 新しい視点で国際問題を掘り下げ、世界中の仲間や指導者とつながりを深めるため、日本と米国南東部の７つの加盟州から代表者が一所に集まります。米国南東部-日本会と日本-米国南東部会の年次合同会議は、毎年交互に日本と米国南東部で開催され、米国南東部の７州は２年任期で幹事と副幹事を順次担当しています。
