Peyton Goodman Joins JAST

JAST is pleased to welcome Peyton Goodman as our Operations and Program Coordinator.

Peyton has relocated to Nashville to join JAST after two years as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program in Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. Before joining JET, Peyton finished her studies at Centre College, KY and graduated with a degree in International Studies focusing on East and Southeast Asia.

Peyton’s interest in Japan started as a child when her father would tell her stories about his time in Okinawa with the Air Force. This encouraged Peyton to go on a semester-long study abroad to Yamaguchi where she studied Japanese, East Asian politics, tea ceremony, and other things.
