As the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak continues to develop, our hearts go out to all who have been affected.
In light of the serious risks to our community posed by the spread of this virus,
the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival and Cherry Blossom Walk have been postponed.
As we monitor the extent and duration of this unprecedented public health crisis,
we will work with Festival partners to determine prospects for a future date to hold our much-anticipated celebration.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay tuned for updates.
The Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival is a family-friendly celebration of spring and Japanese culture on the front lawn of the Metro Courthouse at Nashville Public Square. Admission is free.
The Festival will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Cherry Blossom Walk, hosted by Sister Cities of Nashville. Festival highlights include Japanese music and dance, a roving “Candyman,” martial arts demonstrations, art, anime merchandise, children’s activities, sumo-suit wrestling, Cosplay Contest and a variety of Japanese cuisine featuring special menus from some of Nashville’s favorite food trucks.
All exhibitor and vendor space is full for this year’s festival.
